Pregnancy
A baby's experiences during pregnancy influence development as well as gene expression. This has an impact for life.
If you are pregnant, the months before birth are a golden opportunity to build a loving, positive environment for your baby, to bond with your baby, and prepare for a smooth transition into life beyond birth.
On a Babiesknow course we explore a baby's emotional development in the womb; and focus on ways for expectant parents to positively support their children, as well as themselves, during life’s most influential stage. Our courses are a blend of antenatal course and parenting guidance: we are here to answer your questions in pregnancy, and help you become more aware of what influences your baby while you're pregnancy, and what influences you and your behaviour and relationship - so you are able to make informed choices that will benefit your baby, yourself and your family.
We've devoted this section of our website to life in the womb - giving you a glimpse of what it is like for your baby during these formative months, and why love and bonding before birth matter for your baby and family.

Your role as a loving, powerful parent begins long before your baby’s first cry or smile.’
