Since, household financial management is equally important to keep track of one’ expenses and income, one should invest proper time and make good efforts to select a spreadsheet that is handy and efficient. While browsing online for these spreadsheets it becomes quite difficult to select the right program that is simple to use and effectively takes care of the financial management.
When a team of people reaches this point - whether they are a small company or a department within a larger enterprise - they need a central collaboration solution built. They may be able to buy it or they may have to build one, depending on their specific needs. But the pain of trying to collaborate is now so high that they are suffocating - a significant growth bottleneck has set in.
There are two information-related walls that a young company hits while trying to grow. The first wall is what I call ”spreadsheet suffocation.” It is that stage of information sharing pain that causes people to start cussing. Where did you save the Johnson calculations? Who has the orders spreadsheet locked? Where did my new inventory list go? Did someone write over it? There was 2 days work in that spreadsheet!
Wise financial management is an essential task to do in order to know exactly how to spend money appropriately. Budgeting can be tough for some people while there are those that can do it easily. For the singles, spending money may not always be a problem. But for those who are married and have kids, it may mean spending every dollar requires critical thinking. Whether you are single or married, budgeting is always an advantageous action. It basically makes you reach that status that you are financially equipped for the future. It is absolutely fantastic to think that you have money to draw from your savings account when the need arises particularly if it is very important. You will be able to enjoy your life while not neglecting to keep track your finances.
Third, building the right kinds of collaborative applications requires some skill and understanding how and what kinds of data are shared. How many people are going to be adding/changing records to your database? How many just want to do queries and reports? And how do you prevent conflicting updates?
Is your job dealing with more and more paper work all the time? If you are an office clerk or reports assistant or even if you are a manager you will have to send reports on a monthly basis and more often they will have to do with comparing old and new files as well as updating them. To compare spreadsheet reports, you will have to understand the values being given and consolidate it with any changes made for a certain period of time. If you will be dealing with several files here to compare, you may find this a very daunting task. However, knowing that there is a tool you can use to make this task easier for you is a great relief.
Finally, when you add the Web and Internet-based access to the data, you have greatly increased the skill level required to create and manage your database. While there are some really good Internet-facing database programs (Alpha Software, Filemaker, Quickbase from Intuit, and DabbleDb - just to name a few that I know of), none of these are as easy to setup and manipulate as Trackvia.com, a service that has been out for the past year but recently gotten some much-needed improvements.
